Hi
I posted a topic few days ago about filtration for my 220L, 120cm long malawi tank. Haven't added my yellow labs and demasoni yet. Got some geophagus and estherae and pleco in there now. Plan is to just have yellow labs (5) and demasoni (15).
I mentioned that I have a fluval 205 canister and a dolphin F2000. I got some nice advice re changing or replacing my filters and that my current L/h is too low for malawi.
I've managed to buy another internal - Astro 2000f, pumps 1800L/h.
So pumping total now would be : 450L/h (fluval) + 650L/h (dolphin) + 1800L/h (astro) = 2900L/h.
Say the dolphin and astro are over-stated by say 30% then : 450L/h (fluval) + 455L/h (dolphin) + 1260L/h (astro) = 2165L/h. Given its a 220L tank, that would give a turnaround of 9.84 times per hour. Would this set-up be sufficient for my intended yellow lab and demasoni combo?? The Astro was all I could get and I already had the other two.
Thanx.

Rifaat.
