adding treatment

i need to add some treatment for velvet in my fish tank do i need to do a water change and then add the treatment with the water im putting back in or can i just add it? cheers ppl

either is ok. I usually add it right away. And then follow the instruction on the menu to treat my tank.

Remove black carbon mix in a jug half way with the med then spread it all over the tank, good luck.
