Adding Substrate To Already Set Up Tank...

Hi

I have my tank set up already with fish but want to add some substrate for my plants I have brought tetra plant complete substrate how can I got about putting it in?

I was thinking savein all the water to syphon back in after movin fish out pulling gravel to one half of the tank layin some substrate in, pulling gravel the other way over the half layed then layin some more substrate and pulling the gravel back leval or would it be easyer to remove all the gravel?

Really want as less stress as I can for the fish!

wicked the same idea I had! hopfully tetra wont cloud up to much!
