Hi, I'm sorta new at this hobby. I started out with a 20Gallon. Had some convicts and they had babies. I added a blueberry oscar(which was only blue for like 2 months) to their tank and soon figured out he had no room to run from the Female convict(always protecting her eggs).

So i upgraded to a 60. I traded in my convicts for a very very small jaguar (1/3 inch). After watching him grow for a month or so i got hooked on fish. I went out and got a Flower horn and a Red devil.

I put the Flower Horn in its own tank(the 20Gallon). I didn't want to overstock the 60. But the colors on him were getting awesome, and the 20 was in my bedroom so I couldn't show him off. So i put him in my 60Gallon.(got chased around first day then was fine after)

LOL then i seen this really premium green terror at the fish store. I had to buy him.(he got chased around pretty good by the other fish for the first couple of days).

Anyways. I'm getting a 125-150 gallon tank(for obvious reasons). The guy im buying it off of said you should be able to keep up to 6 cichlids in this tank. As long as they grow up together in it, and do lots of water changes.

I was thinking about getting a electric blue JD. This a bad idea? Or should i go for it once i get the bigger tank setup? Or am i still overstocked and might need to sell one of my other cichlids when they get full size? (i dont mind a little fighting in my tank as long as there not damaging each other).
