Adding Plants

I have had my tank going since Christmas everything is going well . I think. Mostly tetras in tank should I get plants? Why? What are the advantages?

the advantages of having plants is that they give your fish somewhere to hide if they're scared or being chased by another fish. Overall they'll be less stressed

Also some plants can help remove some Nitrate from the water methinks
