I'd like to add a little bit of plants to my tank and was wondering if there was any special needs to attend to beforehand. I have a few fish in the tank already. The tank is 55 gallon. Also, I assume live is better(not to mention more natural looking) than fake. Also, I'd like to know about bigger rocks in the tank. I appreciate any help. Later, QD.

I have blue gourami, bumblebee cory, great danios....Later, QD.

Just put them in, the fish you have will be ok.

I would only have asked the question about the plants if you have silver dollars or similar that like plants for dinner.

What do you want to know about rocks? just chech they are not limestone. If you can, put some vinegar on them, if it fizzes, dont add it. Also, don't use rustic slate as it is rust
