i have 3 tetras in a 5 gal and what fish,s would be good put in with them?

Tetras should really be kept in a group or at least six; but as your tank is suitable only for five one-inch fish, you can really only add a couple more tetras. What species are they?

+1 to what fluttermoth said.

the tetras are the orange tetras not the flame tetras though

Flame tetra maybe?

Anyway; little tanks like yours can look lovely with a just a small shoal of one species. Is it well planted? Your tetra would stand out really well against some plants.

You could always think about adding some freshwater shrimps to your set up, as they don't create much waste :)

thanks for the help i was thinking about getting 2 or 3 guppies what do u 2 think about this?

ya i might add some shrimps and thats a good idea but what about the guppies?

helo?

Personally, I'd strongly recommend that you get more of the same kind of tetra rather than another species of fish.

I understand that you want to have different fish, but it really is a very small tank. You'll just have to get a bigger tank (eventually; I know you're only 11!)

k thx ill get 2more tetras and maybe 2or3 shrimp

I don't think it was completely off subject. Someone mentioned shrimp and I was commenting about how fastenating they can be. I welcomed you to the forum, like I try to do to everyone. I was trying to be friendly. Sorry if you can't appreciate that.
