Hello, first ever post.

We have a 60L Aqua art aqaurium. Started this off a few weeks ago. Have been reading up as much as I can on this forum and books etc. Water readings etc seem to be going to plan.

We started with 4 Zebra Danios 2 weeks ago. One died within 12 hours, the others have been fine.

The plan is to get some more fish tomorrow. We were thinking of getting 2 more Danios(to make 5) and , perhaps, 3 Corydoras Catfish ( 2-3 inch size max). Does this seem reasonable or should we just get the Danios or the Corys and then add the others in another couple of weeks. Any suggestions for types of Corys?

Longer term have been thinking about Neon or glowlight Tetras and , possibly, Guppies. Any thoughts on this?

Thanks

if ur still in the cycle process which if only 1 week u still will be.. i wouldnt get any new fish untill the cycle is fully finished otherwise ur sublecting more fish 2 unsuitable conditions :)

idk how much 60L is but youd pry be ok with 3-4 of the smaller breed corys, and some dwarf gouramis

Provided your cycle has finished.
I wouldn't personally opt for guppies, you'll be plagued with fry periodically and be looking for further expansion (places to keep them)
Try to fill all the water layers,
You've already chosen Zebra Danios they predominatly like the upper layers so thats that taken care of.
After that I would go with IMO
12 Cardinal Tetra (much nicer than neons)
6 Black Phantom Tetra
4 Corydoras species.

BigC

I'd hang fire on adding the Cory's until after a couple of months, give the tank chance to mature a little. Depending on what type of Cory and where you get them from, they don't always survive too well in a new tank in my experience.

Other than that, I'm with what BigC said.
