Adding more gravel to existing tank.

Ive had my tank set up a few months now and I would like to add some more gravel to the bottom as I only sparsely put somme on the bottom. can i do this? maby wash it first with clean water then a rinse in old fish water?

Hi Carl.

That sounds like it should work to wash it like you mentioned. You could add it when you're doing your water change. That way, the water level will be a little lower and you'll have more room to work in the tank. Move slowly so as not to stress the fish too much!
