Adding More Bad Points?

Ive currently got 4 Danios and 6 Cardinals in a 10G now i know this is maximum if going by the 1" per Gallon rule

What are bad points of adding say 4 more cardinals or 3 more Danios

tank is nearly one year old now, only one problem was when plug fuse blew so no heat,filtration occured for two days 6 fish died, 6 fish lived. nearly 4 months ago.

my stats are always very low and can get away with 2 week 25% changes

If it were me, i'd up the cardinals to a total of 10.Then wait, and see how your stats hold up.It's easier to add fish, than take away

They'll enjoy being in a bigger shoal.Looks much better IMO.
I'm no expert, but thats my opinion.

well i went out and got 6 green (fake) tetras, however they may turn into expensive fish food as they seem alot smaller than they were in the shop
