Adding Gravel

Hello

I have just bought some more gravel to put in my tank. But the tank is stocked how do i go about it???

I have had an idea by useing my gravel cleaner to clean the existing gravel in the tank then washing the new gravel then adding the new gravel by useing and large clean cup or using a pan to lower it in then spereding it out without takeing the fish out of the tank. Would this be ok or should i take out the fish if so how do i take out the fish ( use a net or )

I added some extra gravel to one of my tanks a couple of weeks ago - just took out all the plants/wood etc and carefully (after washing) used my "fish tank only" plastic jug to lower the new gravel in without removing the fish (didn't bother them a bit) - worked perfectly
