Adding frogs in with fish?

Is there any reason why I could not add dwarf frogs in to a tank with fish in it? Would there be any benefit at all of adding frogs or would it be a silly idea?!

I don't know anything about dwarf frogs, but was told by my LFS that I couldn't put a frog in with my plec as his claws would scratch him and could lead to infections.

I had frogs, Never again, I put them in my bug tank, The angels and other larger fish kept on trying to munch them, I took them out and they seemed on for a while, They didnt last long, A few weeks then they dies, I also know 2 other people that had trouble keeping frogs
