Obviously, you should leave space between adding new fish/shoals of fish. But what are the recommended rates of doing so?

1 Week?
2 Week?
3 Week?
4 Week? Etc........

And how many at once?

Im just interested to know how often people on TFF do it?

Some people leave a week, I'd do 2-3 to allow time for the filter to catch up (and do extra water changes during that time too ) .

It would also depend on what it is you're adding and how many.

If a school of say... danios or tetras or something, then add half your intended number one week, leave it a couple and then add the other half, and up the water changes along with testing until everything settles.

If it's something bigger such as a couple of specimen fish, then add them a few weeks apart so each can settle and the filter catch up with the larger amount of waste a bigger fish will produce

( don' forget to make sure specimen fish are compatible and not territorial )

A week should be all that is required, filter bacteria can double their population in a day, so no more than a few days to catch up, unless you add loads more.
