I have received my new plants and fertiliser from Java Plants yesterday. I added some fertiliser to the tank at the recommended dosage. On the bottle, it says repeat every 7-14 days but I also do at least 1 x 10% water change per week. Should I repeat the dosage every week? If I do 2 x 10% water changes, do I need replace the ammount of fertiliser according to how much fresh water I put in?

Thank you.

Personally I would add smaller amounts more frequently to keep the nutrient level stable. A huge dose every few weeks means you'll have a nutrient spike for a few days which will then tail off until you add more. Possibly a nice trigger for algae!

So perhaps 1/2 the recommended dose weekly?

Or divide weekly by 7 and add that much every other day.
