Adding De-chlorinator To A Small Tank

when i do a water change for my 3 gallon, how much off that start right stuff do i add? one half cap for every 10 gallons. i have 3 so obviously a 3rd will do. does the amount need to be right on? or will too much not hurt?

roughly is fine, you can't do any damage if you go a little over

It's all but impossible to overdose dechlorinator. I have never measured mine even on the 25 gallon tanks I used to have bettas in. I just squirt. You will definitely end up using more than you need to but to me it's just so much easier than measuring.

I'm sure I've read somewhere that dechlorinator manufacturers have tested up to 50x overdosing without any ill effects.
