I have a 90 litre fish tank with 7 plants. I have Tetra complete substrate under the sand and use a tetra liquid plant fertilizer. I want to add co2 to the tank to aid the health of my plants. I have ordered the Tetra Co2 optimat system to see how it goes.

I have seen on these forums that when I add the co2 it will make a difference to the ph of the water. I do not want to harm the fish.

What should I do?

I was planning to put my airstone on only at night and turn it off during the day. Is there anything else i should do to prevent problems when i add co2?.

ph changes due to CO2 addition will cause no harm.
its PH changes caused by KH changes that will do the livestock damage.
you could use an air stone at night but its not needed by any means.
