Adding Additives And Water Changes?

When using something like Stress Zyme how long after should you wait to do a partial water change? I assume the stress zyme's bacteria attaches to things in the tank soon after putting it in the water so by the next day I can do a partial without wasting the additive.

This goes for all things that go in the tank.. whats a good rule of thumb?

well if i were using something like stresszyme i would do the waterchange and after it then add the stress zyme or are you doing daily waterchanges?

I'm only doing weekly changes.. but I was just curious.
