Adding A Trio?

Well I was thinking of adding 2 more pearl gouramis to my 30 gal, seeing that my one is more grumpy these days. It would be a 1male 2female trio. My tank again is 30 gal all the stats are where they should be I have 5 danios, 1 swordtail male,3 neon tetras,2bloodfin tetras,1 pearl gourami,and 4 yo-yo loachs "the small species". Anyway can I get 1 or 2 more pearls?, or should I just add more neons instead?

Hello, If you mean 30 US Gallons> thats just over 100Litres...?

Looking at what you already have I would probably just add a few Neons, as the Gouramies will inevitably chase and harrass either one male against others or 2 onto the other one.

A bigger tank would provide more territory for the Gouramies, but chasing would still probably happen.

(Had a Gourami for ages (10yrs), which chased every other slightly-large fish> especially any other Gourami!)

So stick with tetras of some sort.
