Ammonia, yesterday i put in WAY more than 5ml in so should I just wait for it too come down?

Thanks, orange shark

Just do a water change to lower it. Start with about 50% and then test. If it's still too high, do another 25%. You don't want it off the chart high because you can't see the progress that it is making. Also,, very high levels can sometimes prevent the process from starting.

bad time but i hardly have any dechlorinater left and my lfs is in a flooded area....

I'm not sure if your area uses chloramine in the water or not but chlorine can be removed by letting the water sit for about 24 hours or by aerating it. If it has chloramine in it, that won't help though.

Ive got about 8 gallons worth for 29 gallons! No-where near enough!

I believe it means the amount of dechlor available would only be enough for 8g. Just leave it, it'll take it's time but you can water change later on.

Ive just done a water change anyway and am going to test in half an hour. Ill post the results then.
