thanks hondour, yes the 12G is on the right side of my sig.

as to making it look huge i dont know really. i guess it's the black background and plant arrangement.

it kind of evolved rather than being planned out.

the general idea was swords on back wall, colour on sides and open mid water swimming space.

then find some interesting bits of wood and play around with it.

thats about as far as my plan went i'm afraid. does that help at all

ah well you're a natural artist. I somewhat lack creativity.

I'm thinking I need some more pieces of wood. Or maybe more smaller bits rather than one huge bit, maybe that would give the illusion of a bigger tank.

oh yeah one thing i did consiously do was pic fish/plants and wood that were small.

i've had a bala in it before and it looked daft and cruel.

i'd rather have a miniture landscape with miniture fish than a load of giant's in a jungle all squeezed into a tiny tank.

that's a great way of looking at it...go miniture. I'm getting ideas now I don't think my fish are too big. Biggest are prob botia striata and gourami. Thanks. You have helped.
