Also forgot to ask....have a 55 gallon, fresh planted tank, all levels good, tank cycled, have 1/2 eco gravel base mixed together with regular gravel...can I add more eco gravel to the tank out of a new bag (obviously not cycled gravel in the new bag).....I need some gravel here and there with all the plants to bury the roots and such. Would this upset my cycle/biological filter and such??

eco-compete helps with the cycle. It comes with beneficial stuff. You don't rinse it either. I wouldn't think that it would hurt anything to add more.
I had a problem adding it with fish in the tank. If you have fish, you will need to take them out until you are finished and everything settles. :good:

I'm not sure what you about why it's a problem to add a little more gravel with fish in the tank?

Eco-complete has sand and very small particles in it too. It will mess up the water until it has time to settle a bit. It could choke/suffocate them. I killed some that way. it is a bit like sticking your fish in mud and expecting them to find the water and air...
