Add A Pump?

I have a Via Aqua Va180 lying around and am considering putting it into my 10g tank. It flows 79gph.

Think this is something my fish would appreciate, or dislike?

i dont think it really matters to the fish as long as there is a deadspot in the tank where there isnt any current. if they dont like it, they will go to the dead spot.
