Ouch...

I wonder if you two'll be singing the same song if your better halves pop around to TTF and actually read this thread...

Shocking! How you guys could even think of selling them? But if anyone is interested, I have a young lovely up for sale myself, low miles on the clock, you wont even have to buy her an expensive ring I gave her one the other week.

Good job she doesn't check this!

Yea man, congrats! :drink: When's the big day?
Yes, congratulations! That's awesome!

Back on topic, have you thought about asking Justin Law about this? Well, since he's a member of the forum, it wouldn't hurt to ask. But, it looks like you have some pretty good endorsements from George and OldWhiteWood and others. Sounds expensive to me.

I have not thought about asking Justin about this, that is a good idea.

It is expensive but you get what you pay for, I'm doing a total re-vamp of the tank anyway. New filter, pressuirzed CO2....etc.

How smart of you to do all this before you get married... hehehehe.... :p

I've heard a lot of good things about the ADA line of substrates over at aquaticplantcentral.com, and those guys know their stuff, so you can be assured this is a high quality product.

What filter are you getting btw? If you can afford it, I'd recommend the Eheim range of filters. Easy to diffuse CO2 with it as well. But since you're going pressurized, I think using a diffuser would be a better idea.

If you're really serious into planted tanks, I'd recommend you register at the forums at aquaticplantcentral.com, as they have some friendly hobbyists over there who are more than willing to help you out over the way... Specific forums for aquascaping, substrate, ferts, lighting and many more, with top name hobbyists such as Jeffrey Senske and Tom Barr posting there regularly....

And no, I don't work for APC... ;)

Cheers,

Actually I do plan on buying an Eheim, actually the Eheim 2126 Professional II Thermofilter. It has the external heater and is good for tanks up to 90-ish gallons so it will be overfiltered. I do plan on building the CO2 reactor on the outlet side of the filter which should reduce a little of the flow...that's my plan so far!
