Hi everyone! I just picked up some cheap tissue culture plants from petco, and would like to start my journey acclimating TC with them. I’d like to grow them emersed, so I’m wondering what you guys usually do with them.

One of them has mold in it, so I’m really not sure how to go about that as well.
Should I remove the plant from the tc even if it doesn’t have mold immediately?

If it has mold in then something went wrong at the tissue culture place. They are meant to be grown in a sterile medium. Maybe contact the company and say it's got mold in.

If you are growing them out of water, just put them in pots with potting mix and keep them in a large plastic container with a lid on. After a couple of weeks you can open the lid a bit and let some air get into the container. Repeat the process several times a week whereby you open the lid a bit more. Do this until at least half the top is open then remove the lid completely.

If the plants are going into full sun give them a few hours in morning sun then shade during the middle of the day. Do that for a few weeks then give them more sun. Build up their exposure to the light over a period of several weeks to a month (depending on how hot it is, longer in hot weather).

Wash the agar gel off the roots before putting them in potting mix.
