just got one of these guys and is a migget at 1".

any one know there usual growth rate?

mmm yes I'd be interested to know too. I've wanted one of these for ages, but it's the 24" that's putting me off a bit

24"? try more like 4 foot for a full grown adult!!!!!

They should grow very slowly, a lfs here had one a foot long which was supossedly over 10 years old and had been returned when its owner died.

4ft......opps just checked baesch and they say 100cm, everywhere else i had looked said 2ft before.....oh well sounds like i have a life time to gte my dream tank to house him.

i thought it was the A. Hystrix they grew to the ridiculous size of 4-5ft
