Today in the fish shop I spotted 'a fish', very helpful, I know ;) It was in a display tank with angels and corries. It's name started with B. Mac.... It kind of looked like a Royal farlowella, except that it didnt have a sucker mouth, or same tail :p It had a very long nose though (longer than the Royal Farlowellas as far as I could tell). There seemed to be 2 different types in there, 2 of them had black dots going pretty much in a line, while the other 2 had a full black line. All 4 of them were about 15 cm in length I think.
 
Were they surface dwellers? The first name that springs to mind is Boulengerella maculata but this is a surface dwelling predatory Characin.
 
Yes they were, and thats the one alright :) Thank you! Time to look up a lot of information, and then probably not get it because it looks just a tad too big for any of my tanks, or fish!
