ok ive been reading some journals of planted tanks and notice that some says to plant alot of plants at once ... i ve been planting a few at a time like wisterea and sword thingy forget what its called and that tall green bushy thing that grows in one piece .. i wonder if they will continue to grow up gain if i snipped it half after reaching serface.....and i have a mystry plant have no idea what it is and its growing well its was just a 6 leaved plant now up to 12 leaves in past two weeks so its growing well and i also got something else oh yea grass thingy dont look all that great it has 2 25watts light bulbs they guy at lsf said that equals 50 watts so that means i m assuming 2 wpg give or take med light ... but on side of my tank its low light and the lights are the brightest at the center so im just waiting to grow it taller and then move some wistera on the corner side and the same fpr the tall thingy and wanted to get some java fern but from what i read u can attach to soemtihng not plant in the grown and as for ricca also im wondering if it will grow well those are the 2 plants im interested i have halgen co2 kit with ladder havent done the yeast mixture yet but it working with the one i already have bubbles comes out but its right beside the pump so i m assuming the surface is too much movement so im gonna move it to the side more and see if it makes a difference its still growing well though and i put liquid fert in weekly so far i

as to let you know i have 3 corys
8 danios
all in 25 tal gallon tank

so as to keep it well done and taken cared offf what else should i do to maintain it
i would like to get 2 breeding pair of kribs not sure yet looks awesome ....what do you think

There's definitely a strong theory that planting all at once is the best way to go - it helps avoid algae, I think.
I'm no expert, but I don't think Ricca would work in your set-up, as it requires higher light levels. Java does need to be tied onto wood or a rock or something.

Once your plants get too tall or just look like they're in general need of pruning, just snip some off and plant it. Java, however, will grow "baby" plants on the end of it's leaves. They'll grow roots and eventually drop off and then you can attach the new plant to something.

As for the breeding pair of kribs - I wouldn't. I think you'd be running the risk of an overstocked tank. Depending what kind of danios you have, you might already be maxed out on stocking.

only have 8 zebra danios and 3 peppered cory .. whats left of them i removed them from the main tank as they were dying off for some reason dont know why aside of low ph in the main tank and they seem to do better in this one

and as for alot of plants i dotn have plms with aglae at all as i alsoe got 3 ottos i guess if kribs arent advisable in my 25 gall ill get about 4 more otos then ... i just though maybe just one pair of kribs would be ok

ricca will survive but will not flourish, it definitely thrives on higher light than 2 WPG to grow, it needs high light! and accurate co2.. something like 2.5 and upwards. ricca is Damn! messy if its not tied properly..
