Fin Rot
Fins will develop and adnormally ragged apperance, especially evident in the caudal fin. Red streaks start to develop in the fins, which appear to be congessted with blood. This disease can affect all types of fish.
Symptons:
Erosion of the edges of the fins, often with some reddening suggesting inflammination. May follow by fin-nipping tank mates.
Treatment:
Check and improve water qualtity as necessary. Identify and remove fin-nipper. Feed Vitimen C enriched food. Treat with anti-fungal remedy.

Water:Temperature 72-77 farenhiet {22-25 Celcius};soft {50mg/l} and acidic {pH 6.0-6.5}
Temperment:Relatively Peaceful
A siverly body and deeply forked yellowish caudal fin edged with black help to identify Tri-color Sharks. These active fish are fast swimmers and good jumpers, so they need to be caught with care. As they grow, the females can be recognized by the rounder shape of their underparts. Breeding requires more space then there is available in the typical home aquarium. Large Tri-Color Sharks may prey on smaller companions.
