Hi

I have a yeast co2 system (Nutrafin) I have done away with the ladder and put the pipe directly into the back of a small pump its smashes the bubble into tiny ones and blows them over my tank is this a safe and better method than using the ladder?

You can test for Kh then refer to this table

Or you can get a drop checker, fill it with 4DKH solution, add a bit Ph reagent then you have a permanent co2 test that needs changing about once a week,

green - ok
yellow - to much
blue - not enough
