Aaarrrggghhh Help Filter Dead

have a fluval 3+ underwater filter
did a clean last night
impeller and everything
only working at half power
what can i do

half media changed 1 month ago

so thefilter is working......try squeezing out the sponge more and make sure everythings unblocked

Turn it off, take it apart and double check the pads and impeller isn't blocked.

can the filter be run without the third middle media

Yep, the two sponges are ok on their own.

what does the middle one do then

Carbon media (black): This removes any chemicals from your water. Take this out when using using medication
because it will remove the meds.

Fine media (white) : This is a water polisher, it removes the tiny particles.
