Heya agian,

They wont bother the fish :D

You could just pick them out, but chances are where you find some there is bound to be more. If they really bother you, add some cucumber or lettuce into the tank over night, in the morning, snails will be all over it - just take it out. Sometimes snails come in on plants, if you find you have an explosion you could be over feeding, try cutting back and doing the cucumber thing a few times.

But snails IMO are a good thing, they keep the substrate agitated, clean up left over food and munch away on algae - they do more good than harm :good;

thanks minx,

but what is best way to completely rid my tank of them?, will cucumber take out all the snails

Why get rid of them?

They eat algae, left-over fish-food, fish poop, etc., but they won't damage plants. They'll keep your tank spotless, and they're cute as well. :good:

Snails make a good addition to any tank!
