It's cute and thoughtful, but I'd suggest we stop buying deformed fish to start. If there's no market for fish harmed by breeder's decisions, we won't need short term fixes like this. That unfortunate fish isn't going to get the 30 plus years its good genes say it should, because its cute genes will kill it long before then. That's a kind and resourceful fishkeeper, but the patch won't hold.
