A Weird Question About Plants

Ok I was thinning some of the plants in my tank and i put the plants in a bowl. Then i left the room for about 5 minuets. (Now for the weirdness) When i came back i found my cat eating them ! I'v always called her weird, but i never thought she was this weird . She ate most of the plants(hygophilia polysperma) and none of them are salvagable . So, is h. polysperma edible or could she get sick?

Thats not weird at all, my cat eats plants all the time they just do that. Unless it ate a lily it should be fine. Lillies are very poisenous to cats and can cause kidney failure.
