A vicious cycle

So about 6 months ago I bought a betta at this store and when I came home there was a zebra danio in the bag I had no other danios so I threw him in my 29 and he schooled with my rummies Well, as he grew up, I guess he realized he wasn't a rummy and started swimming all by his lonesome at the top of the tank Therefore, my danio search began My fish store is two hours away in another state, so it's luck of the draw and mine seemed to be out

Today I finally found healthy danios So he now has some buddies and they are playing tag and having the greatest time

But....

I also added to my rummynose school today and when I look in the bag and what do I find? A lone Bloodfin He's swimming with the rummies but I suppose this means my Bloodfin search has begun

Don't believe them, they are trying to take over your tanks by sending in reinforcements everytime.

Pretty good, three went to a new home last night, and I have a home for one more so far and I'm attached to five of them so they're sticking around

So.....do you also get the fish that you are paying for? Are you buying fish off utter fools or do they just throw in some free fish with the fish that you are buying?

Could also be that somebody at that LFS knows what a soft heart you have...throw a zebra danio in the bag, you'll be back soon to spend more money....

Yup, get what I want as well, just with the addition I think they do know that I'll be back for extras. What i think is happening is that when they net my fish, they catch an extra and just throw it in free

I don't mind Just cracks me up that the same day I remedy the first situation, the second one shows up
