Hiya! I was rearranging my photos and found these pictures when I went to Scotland 2 summers ago.

The first one is Stirling, picture taken from the Wallace Monument (yes that's the William Wallace Monument, the hero from Braveheart! )

And this is somewhere between Glencoe and Kinlochleven, the bottom of the highest mountain in Britain Ben Nevis. The river leads to Loch Leven.

And finally this is Kinlochleven, the eastern end of Loch Leven at the base of Ben Nevis (which I can't take in the picture because it's too huge and high)

Those are absolutely gorgeous!!! One of these days I'm going to make it across the ocean and then I'll be making the rounds to see all of your fish!!!

fabulous pictures Feline, you got some great shots. They really show how beautiful it is there. Mind if I tag along AquaNut? :D

Of course not!!! It's a plan! We'll take Tuesday and Jenica along; they can keep each other entertained while we sample some fine ale!!!

Anyone else care to join us? ;)

Sounds like a plan! :D

Feline, is Loch Leven where the reports of the Loch Ness monster come from? :*) (or at least close to it?)

Hmm... I think the Loch Ness monster hails from Loch Ness! Loch is Scotish ? for lake, methinks. :)

Loch Leven is 2 other lochs (Loch Linnhe n Loch Lochy) away from Loch Ness, approximately 40-45 miles away. They r all formed as a result of a fault line there so Loch Linnhe, Loch Lochy and Loch Ness can line up in a straight line.

I remembered the first time I went to Loch Ness, there was a huge salmon (or trout) jumping out from the water! :D

Anyway I'll try n find a picture of Loch Ness later on tomorrow. Too bad I couldn't get Nessie in!
