A Tank Centerpiece

At the moment I'm new to keeping fish and would like some advice on a fish which would make a perfect centerpiece in my tank. The fish I already have are:
5 mollys
6 platys
10 neon tetras
2 apple snails
1 bristlenose

I was thinking about getting some type of gouriami, but I am keen on knowing peoples views of a perfect centerpiece for my community tank. My main worries are choosing one which would either be attacked or attack others. Any ideas??
