hi. i have 2 tanks right now a 20 gallon with 2 platys 3 guppies and 4 cory cats and a 5 gal. with about 20 guppy?platy babies...i want to know if i can let the guppy fry(which are bigger than the platy fry) into the big tank

will the adult fish eat them? they are about a half an inch long

As long as they are big enough not to fit in another fish mouth they will be ok.

how do i know if they can fit in the others mouths or not??? =)

Guess? You can usually tell, or at least get a sense. I'd move some out anyway, since 5 gallons is pretty small for a bunch of Guppy fry. Add in some floating plants/hiding places in the main tank for them to hide in, and you should be good. :)

alrighty...so today iput in two fry and one got a good jump and is still hiding and eating...the other got picked off by a platy the second it got in...i think im going to wait acouple more weeks until i try this again cause i only have 1 more guppy fry in the baby tank

ya it was pretty bad watching the platy just swallow the whole body...i just stood there shocked
