I love apple snails, I think I might get a couple for my 20 gal.

I have no idea of the collective noun for snails, but gaggle seemed to fit.

I have blue, ivory, jade, chestnut and purple ones.
I almost brought pink ones but decided £8 for one was too expensive, even if they are the rarest colour.

Do they bother your live plants?

not really, they like vallis but not anything else in the tank
I feed them lettuce and cucumber regularly, so maybe that has something to do with it.
