A Quick Hello

Just thought I would introduce myself and my tank. (Currently with no inhabitants as I'm doing a fishless cycle).

I'm not a newbie, but I am by no means an expert. I used to have a 30l Biube (now dubbed tanks of death) But after gaining some understanding of the hobby, have decided to do it properly.

This is my custom 39cm x 39cm x 39cm glass cube with a fluval 2+ internal filter.

It's a bit stark in there at the mo, coz I only set it up a couple of weeks ago. But I am going to add a few plants soon. I am also hoping to sort out my lighting soon too. I want to have a sheet of perspex so it will look like a pure cube and will fit a 24hr lighting system thing with leds.

I'm really not sure what to put in....

I am defo going to have some guppies, I had some in my last tank and I loved them, they had such a good personality not to mention they were frisky little buggers !!!

I am currently doing my research into suitable tank mates. Any suggestions gratefully accepted.

guppies are cool, i have 4 in mine (all male)
i guess any fish you fancy would be good as long as they are compatible!
it's all a matter of personal taste of course.

I like colourful fish, but I don't want any that are too big.... about 75mm max length. Also I have tested my water and it reads at-

pH - 6.4

KH - 0-3

GH - 3

I want fish that are going to be happy.

I also neglcted to mention that Windsor-aquatics built my tank for me. I thought I should mention this as Keith's business is a sponsor of this forum. I absolutely love my tank, it is perfect, just what I wanted and it only cost me £25 - Bargain considering I got a quote of £65 for exactly the same thing.
