would i be able to get the fry and put them in the small tank (if keptt at a warm room temp)
would they be ok and in a few weeks move them into big tank (however f there is too many i will sell some to my lfs but untill them would they be ok in a tank with no heater ( and the ones i keep as i have no room would they be ok in a tank maybe for ever with no heater.

First off. Guppies are livebearers, no eggs are laid. Second you got that mix all wrong. You should have one male and three females. She will give birth every month or so and if you do not save the fry the other fish in the tank will eat them. Go to livebearers and post there, you will get all the help you need. By the way :hi: to the forums

Yeah you have too many males for your female, the minimum gender ratio for guppys is 2-3females per male and not vice versa, the males will constantly harrass the female especially while she is giving birth and she may die, the fry have little chance surviving in a tank with so many males and so few females- f you don't want fry you should rehome your female and buy 2 males in her place  .

oh ok thanks illl GO THERE
will they just give birth what about if i was going to get a female platy then would they breed more and be safe

Platys and guppys can't crossbred, and the same is true for platys that they need at least 2-3females per male as a single female will get far too harrassed by the males.

Either way thoug your tank doesn't have the space for fry and if you want a fry tank it needs to be at least 5gals and have a filter and heater, guppy fry take 3months until they are sexually mature and platys 6months, no lfs will take fry off you if they are less than half grown- some lfs's will not take fry at all, so if you want to breed livebearers, apart from having a suitable place to raise them in, you need to find out if your lfs even takes fish off customers- the vast majority of lfs's will not pay anything for livebearers though off customers as they can be bought for pennys off breeders and have insurance with them.

ok yes i asked my lfs he said yes we do never said a price
