I thought I'd take a few snaps of our moggies.

First, here's Ziggy, our huge muscular tabby tomcat;
Ziggy was an unwanted Kitten because he suffered from the kitten equivelent of ADHD and was mistreated as a result.
It took me more than a year of TLC before Ziggy was able to trust human hands near him again.

This is Phuzz, she's a tiny li'l old lady;
Phuzz was found as a tiny kitten in a plastic bag under a hedge with her sister, Wooly (who I also have)
and several dead siblings. I had to hand feed them for a week before they were strong enough to feed themselves.

Then enjoying the spring sunshine is Charlie the retard.
Charlie fell (or was put) in motor oil as a tiny kitten and came to us covered in the stuff. The oil got
into his system and poisoned him and now he's brain damaged and very stupid, but very happy.

And lastly, This is Calico worshiping the Spring Sunshine.
Calico came to me as an unhomeable reject. No-one wanted calico because she was born with only half a tail.

They're all VERY beautiful. Ziggy reminds me a lot of my big tabby Charlie. All of them are rescues, then? How very good of you. All of my cats are rescues, too.

I have fallen in love with Phuzz! :wub: She is beautiful. She looks like she has some persian in her. Congrats on all the rescues. All my kittties are rescues too. It seems so much more rewarding IMO.

I'd like to put the person responsable in a plastic bag :grr:

Great cats Sir, and I applaude you and your wife for taking
on these wonderful animals. I'm sure you get back as more
TLC than you give.

for Charlie

I third it! Even though thats not neccessary! :p

SirM, your a champ! :thumbs: As soon as i own my own home.. :shifty: hehehehe, pets galore.....

Wonderful recovery stories though! :) Nice job.

I'll 4th that nomination for Charlie ! I not only love Ginger Toms, but have a soft spot for those cats of lesser mental ability.

We also had one - though he was a white Chinchilla (cat by the way) and not a ginger tom - but his tongue always hung out and dribbled ! :X
:lol:

I love phuzz she looks just like our very old lady peggy, called that because she came to us from the rspca, noone wanted her because she had had a serious leg injury and had the whole of her back end shaved and looked pretty horrific. now you'd never know even though they told us she would never walk properly and would probably have to be carried to the loo all the time.

We also have a charlie, like yours he's ginger and not all that bright, all he ever wants to do is follow our old man thomas around and cuddle him when he stays still long enough.

They are all lovely cats but phuzz and charlie have to be my favourites :wub:

Beautiful cats :wub:

I also have a brain damaged cat. She was hit by a car at 5 months old and she's not very well at all :( She forgets things and her eyesight and sense of smell isn't very good. She has to be put infront of her food and will sometimes just forget she was eating and sit there staring at it :rolleyes: Luckily she's very happy, as your charlie obviously is, and she's lived for nearly 10 years now when we were told she wouldn't live one year!!!

Good on you for rescuing all those cats! They all look very happy and healthy :)

What wonderful pets you have!
I have a friend who also has a brain damaged cat - she was thrown out a car window by some teenagers several years ago. She is the most loving adorable cat now, and a healthy 12 years old. She forgets where she's going and runs into things every now and then, among other things - but she's fabulous.

I can't wait until I have a huge house so I can have several rescues running around. :wub:

Great cats! I like Charlie the best, good work with all the rescues.

Isn't it odd how all the brain damaged cats received their brain injury as a result of human actions?

They're all beautiful!!!! One of my two is a rescue, the other was a tiny, lonesome kitten crying her eyes out in a cage in the petshop when I went in to buy a scratching post for the first one..... (me--> sucker) Missie says she'd rather have had the scratching post!! :rofl:

I especially love the photo of Phuzz... both of mine have serious cardboard box fetishes. First they sleep in them for months, then they chew them. Ever stepped on cold, wet cardboard sludge with extra hairballs???? :sick:

:kewlpics: :kewlpics: :kewlpics: :kewlpics: kOOL cATs :D
