A Nice Surprise To End The Semester!

Well I almost went crazy this last week studying for finals and all . Today though was my last day ! I'm FREE! My tanks have all been neglected, they normally get water changes on Tuesday, but I still haven't had a break to go do it. Just got back from having diner with my family and was watching my GBR act funny. Then I noticed that they had spawned! I've raised the parents from little 1/4" fry. Its their first time spawning and my first time with cichlid eggs. We will see how it goes.

Here's a pic of the male guarding the eggs , they are doing a pretty good job so far. One watches the eggs the other chases the other fish away, they switch positions every minuet or so.
