Yesterday i got 6 Neolamprologus brevis, ive been waiting for them for about 4 weeks. Well when i first let them into the tank they swam arround a little bit in and out of the shells i have in the tank. but after about 2 hours they kinda all moved to one corner of the tank and arnt really swimming arround or anything. Im not sure if that is the way the act when they are first put into a new environment or not. I also gave them a few flakes and some brine shrimp but they didnt eat anything.

It's normal, they are stressed with the journey and the new tank, they will settle in soon.

Just an up date on my fish.......They are doing fine, they are swimming all over the tank and in and out of shells. They are eating like pigs and seem to be doing fine sorry about the false alarm (First time with these fish).

Grat to hear things are going better. It might help your small colony of shelldwellers if you place all the shells on the bottom of the tank. Shelldwellers don't like their shells above the bottom of the tank. Also, try to keep the shells as far apart as possible. The dominant fish will try to keep the nearest shells to himself :/
