Needing to get my co2 under better control. Plants still doing good none the less. Have 2 lilly bulbs and 5 Aponogeton bulbs on right side. Going for a little wilder look so just threw them in and let them settle as they wanted to.

but, here is a few pics. You can still see some aglae on the back glass. It doesnt bother much but the hair algae has been killing me.

oh plants are short cause i just did a major trimming. Most of the plants reach the top of the water. Will update the pics after some more trimming and a week or so of growth for the background plants.

How are you getting rid of algae? I think I have some growing, and I have NO idea how to get rid of it...

with my experience.. there is always going to be some algae in a planted tank. if you have a lot there could be quite a few problems. check out your water stats and see if you have good water quality. the next thing to take a look at is your plants. plants are great at getting rid of algae as they out compete algae for nutrients. so you might want to add some fast growing plants or just more plants in general, they say over 50% of substrate is a good amount of plants. Also if you have plants and correct co2 levels and your not feeding more then the plants can handle you should almost have no algae at all.

goodluck.. hope my input helps

Tanks looking good phlawed :) have you thought about trimming your taller plants and making them more bushy? And plan for some foreground plants?
