can zebra danio group of 5 live in 18 gallon tall and well planted and what else can i add to make it look full if i haft  to i will do 25% water change evrey other day

No, they can't. While they are rather small in size they are extremely active so they are best in a 3-4ft long tank and groups of 6+. HERE is more information on them.
 
Your tank being tall is a bit harder to stock. Can you give the dimensions? Is your water soft or hard? Someone should be able to think of something that would work in there

As Ninjy says, it's not just volume of water that counts, surface area is a big factor, as this is a major influence on oxygen levels. We really do need dimensions to be able to help.

18 gallons is definitely not large enough for zebras. I had mine in a 10 gallon and ended up rehoming them. I've had lots of experience with community fish. however now, I only keep betta fish. have you considered having mollies, guppies or platties? they are a lot less active, and will multiply like crazy. I personally haven't had any luck with mollies or guppies (I just cant keep them alive) but the platties that I bought, I started with 3 and ended up with 11. and that includes a lot of them getting eaten. of course I didn't keep them all. I gave them to friends or to my LFS. good luck

Another cool thing would be some neon tetras, maybe 6. I think it should be large enough for them and you could do some shrimp and live plants.

Wouldn't be so good if the OP has hard water though...

I think we should wait until we have details of the tank dimensions and water before we suggest fish.

Here is the facts yall needed 
it is in the middle  of being hard or soft
no to neon tetras we have no luck with them  
and what else is there we are temp housing 2 mean swordtails in it next week they will be re homed
so in yall's veiw what do you think i should add and filter puts the air in and
its for a 15-20 gallon tetra wisper i think or that aqua-tech
 20 by 11 and 19 tall

Thanks for that info So you have two swordtails that will be getting re-homed soon, are there any other fish in the tank? Is it cycled? Have a read of THIS to see more about cycling.
 
Hmm, what places are available to you? Like is it just petsmart and petco, or are you willing to order online?
Something that would be good to do is go to your LFS and write down the fish that interest you, then post the list here and we can hopefully give you a suitable stocking for the tank.
 
Sorry for all the questions, it just makes it a lot easier to recommend fish for you

it is cycled and
yes to online ordering and a petco and a petsmar about 80 milse away and a walmart that sale fish 20 miles away or so
no neon tetras they are not very hardy on the 80 mile trip they get to stresed
most other tetras
my moms faverot is the mirror tetra or somthing like tha
t we have all the llive berring fish and gourami s in 29 gallon  and a group of tree neon tetras sevived out of 12 to difrent trips and only 3 survived it so
no to livebering fish as wel
l and open to suggestions
and what plants are the best had
a problem with them
acupple day ago no idia why nothing rong with the water

You had problems with plants a few days ago? What happened?
 
Some easy low light plants are these: Anubias, java fern, bolbitis (this and the previous two should be attached to rock or driftwood), anacharis/elodea (plant in substrate or float), cryptocorynes, amazon sword, vallisneria, certain aponogetons, watersprite (plant in substrate or float), banana plants, dwarf water lettuce (floating), hornwort (also floating).
 
I havn't heard of mirror tetras, sorry.
 
I am not 100% sure if these prefer hard water like bigger rainbows or if they're just okay in it, spotted blue eyes (pseudomugil gertrudae).
You would likely need to order them online. HERE is more info on them. Peacock gudgeons might be okay as well.
