A Little Help?

Firstly would just like to say hello to the forum B)

Now whilst im not a complete newbie to keeping fish, i'm looking for some advice for my new monster tank when it arrives next weekend (wooo canny wait lol)

First thing - how long should i let it run for before adding my existing fish? (i know this is a dead basic question, but ive had numerous problems before with my tank getting whitespot & the pet store said it was because i put them in too early & it wasnt established, i usually wait 7 days)

Also could you advise what i could put with my existing fish - im after a good selection of different breeds, that are brightly coloured, that grow to app 1 inch max, and i also wouldnt mind some that suck to the side of the glass, if these are avaliable for freshwater tropical.

I'm not sure what breed the 3 fish are, but i know the other one is a plec

Ahh cool that link will help alot! The new tank is 240Litres / 53UK gallons

Search the forum for fishless cycling (it can take several weeks from what ive read)

yeah i never knew about a fishless cycle before i came here. When i first bought my tank i had it running for about two weeks before i bought any fish, but that was just to test the equipment and setup of the tank. I had no idea about ammonia and stuff back then.
