A little about me

Hi all I am new to the aquarium world as my son thought it would help as a stress reliever to have a hobby.. I am a grandma in her late fifties what has always been fascinated by aquariums it never thought to own one.. boy oh boy it has been fun setting up my tank to say the least.. nothing fancy .. I have guppies , cardinals & mollies & 1 cat fish.. hoping to utilise this forum when I get stuck on what to do

Hi AilyNC thanks for the welcome I have mollies guppies cardinals & 1 cat fish .. but one of my mollies looks sick

Hi and welcome @1sttimer ! Never too late to get into this hobby! How long has your tank been set up? How big is it? How often/how big are the water changes that you do? How long have you had the molly you are concerned about? What kind of symptoms is it showing?

Thanks for providing the picture! It will help us figure out what might be going on.

Also one last question (I know I threw like 20 at you already), are you familiar with the nitrogen cycle? I'll link it below just in case.
