I’ve had fish since I was a kid and now I have a 20 gal planted tank with 10 or so Platys!

Welcome @MysticFlwr. Sorry to contradict you @Fishmanic and @emeraldking but they said there tank is 20gal and isn't this month's contest 16gal and smaller? Or are you not too strict on that rule? Don't mean to sound rude.

Yeh, @BigJfish12 fish is correct. The present contest is for 16 gal and smaller. But you could enter October's contest which will be for tanks sized at 17 to 30 gallons.Welcome @MysticFlwr. Hello. That's quite a few Platys in such a small tank. Especially, if you have several females in it. Live bearing fish are pretty good at breeding, so at the very least, you should change half the tank water a couple of times every week. Remember, the more water in the tank, the more room for a mistake in tank management.
