Hello all,
Taken the plunge and started my own aquarium in my new flat, following a childhood spent choosing fish for my Dad's FW aquarium.
I've gone for a 90L AquaOne 620AR tank. Water in now, some wood in for decor following a good soak. About to start adding ammonia to get the cycling going.
Hoping to end up with a shoal of 7 Harlequins, 2 or 3 Otos and perhaps some Hatchets to make use of the extra height in the tank.
A big thank you to all those who contribute to this forum. The help and advice given to others on this forum has been essential reading for me the last few days, thought I'd pop on here to say hello to you all and congratulate you on a genuinely "informative trans-atlantic forum" - something I didnt think existed (my other hobby is photography!!).
Now, here's hoping I've done my ppm calcs correctly! Anyone else get shadey looks from Homebase staff asking for the ammonia solution???
Cheers
