A Good *external Uv Steriliser*

i have a 180l tropical Planted community tank. I want to get an external uv steriliser to save space and keep a good look, i get a bit of algae (i know it is sign of healthy tank) and i want to get rid of it and other harful bacteria.

i have a 180l tropical Planted community tank. I want to get an external uv steriliser to save space and keep a good look, i get a bit of algae (i know it is sign of healthy tank) and i want to get rid of it and other harful bacteria.

I have a HAQOS 36Watt UV on my 450, it has 360 swivel on input and output and its a decent length. Works very well by all accounts and you can pick them up much cheaper than the ones you usually find down the LFS at £90-160 for 11-16 Watt versions, with much smaller UV exposure areas and fixed input/output valves.

Picked it up from an aquarium dealer on ebay for £40 bargain!

As said you can find good deals on Ebay and there's an 8 watt (I believe that's the wattage) external for $56 at Petsmart in USA that comes with its own pump.
